What a wonderful 50th!

We are still glowing from our 50th anniversary celebration this past weekend. Hundreds of alumni and current campers and counselors gathered together to play, sing and reminisce about the past half century at Camp Riverbend. Harold Breene, our camp director, opened the day with remarks about his memories of Camp Riverbend.

We finished the day off with a cartwheel-a-thon with 350 cartwheels performed by some of the Breene grandchildren and current campers (the only ones spry enough to do them!) To see some of them, click on these YouTube Links: http://youtu.be/vg0mz430XH4  http://youtu.be/Aips62vG4_o

One of our alums, Cara Capparelli, a camper from 1969-1974 and a counselor in 1980, traveled from her home in Vermont to be with us.  She  composed and sang a song in honor of Camp Riverbend. Watch her performance at http://youtu.be/X3_AtFhoGYU
